Wish Books Like This Were Available in the 1960's

As a black male I sought therapy for depression in 1988. Support for the journey was rare. It is encouraging to see our evolution not only as African-Americans but more importantly as members of the human race. I do have feelings. I can pay attention to my feelings, honor my feelings, express my feelings, this was not taught to young black males of the 1960's. I wish there had been more resources such as these thirty years ago!

As my own catharsis I wrote my own book told through the eyes of a child; in the voice of a child.
